I have been given a big slab of bees wax from a friend who keeps bees.
I would like to make some beeswax polish,the recipe calls for turpentine,however I cannot find where to buy it.I can find turps substitute but not the real thing.Any ideas please.

You can use white spirit (i.e. turps substitute). Alternatively try artists' suppliers. Just done a google search and come up with this too:
