Just finished arranging my 5 year fixed with Abbey and my Advisor has said Abbey have just told him they are pulling that rate today. I assume this means it's going up. Anyone wavering mught do well to put it in place now.

Sorry
It appears the 2-year fixed rate is going down tomorrow!
So confusing this! They seem to be up and down like a yoyo. Earlier this week their best offer on a 5-year fixed showing on their website was 5.31%.

It still is.
5.31%, less than 70% lTV. However you need to either, be an abbey customer, OR be willing to move your accounts to Abbey, and/or take out insurances.
That relationship has to be there before it can be offered, although there is no limit to how long.0 -
i have spoken to an abbey advisor tonight - they are now only allowing 50% max of LTV as interest only any more borrowing i.e. over the 50% is on a repayment basis, oh and they are putting up their fixed rates tomorrow (friday)0
