Out-of-date Clubcard Vouchers.....HELP!!

Hi everyone! Not sure where to put this really: had a good sort-out today at home, lots of shredding, charity bag stuff etc., after workmen now finished and gone! Came across some Tesco Clubcard vouchers. Don't know where they've been hiding, as they're normally put somewhere safe as soon as they arrive.....anyway, have found 2 vouchers with expiry date of 29/02/08 on, totalling £23! Can I do anything about them, or have I lost out completely? Never happened before. If it was just a couple of pounds I probably wouldn't bother, but I think this amount would be worth trying to save. Thanks in advance for all your help/replies.

I don't know, I've always binned mine but they've never been for that much, just point ones.

You could try ringing tesco's and explaining.

Try phoning their customers services and asking nicely, this is your best bet I would have thought.

you can ring customer services and they will credit the amount of points(2300 points) to your account and you will recieve the vouchers in your next mailing. i did it myself last year sometime and you just have to give them the code thats on the voucher.

I would definitely either email or phone them. A few months ago by mistake I binned about £10 of Tesco clubcard vouchers. I emailed asking whether they could be replaced. Their immediate response was that they couldn't re-issue but would cancel the present vouchers and add the points to my next statement.

This they did and I thought their customer service was excellent.

    Good luck

They will add them back to your next statement if you haven't used them, I did the same thing, forgot all about them and gave customers services a ring and in my next statement all the vouchers added

    Hi everybody! :j :j :j
Well, I haven't had this experience before...I guess I thought they were going to say a whopping ''NO''...you were all absolutely right. Mind you, I did feel a bit of a twit when I spoke to the helpline though, and I told them so! Yes, they'll add them to the next mailing. After that I had no problem telling DH about it; if they hadn't allowed it I expect I would probably have ''lost'' the vouchers rather conveniently(!). So we now have a nice little bundle coming next time.....Thank you all.
