Money Claim On Me Or My Address??

I have a money claim against me made by my solicitors who acted for me in my employment tribunal claim, for their legal fees for dealing with my case. The address the claim has gone to is my parents address as i was living at home when my tribunal claim began.
I am not especially worried about this claim because i have reasons as to why i have not paid and it is to do with the misconduct of the solicitors in dealing with my claim and so i will be defending the action against me. BUT i just want to put my parents' fears to rest about this claim effecting their address in terms of credit etc.
As i understand it, it is a myth that a claim attaches to the address. My parents think that a claim attaches to the address first and the person secondarily. Does anyone know definitively which is correct??? I would be extremely grateful for any assistance on this. Thanks!
