Hello, I'm late, again, keep forgetting to post :o working as much as possible from what we have in due to it being a harsh month money wise with cars etc so have set a budget of £180 for everything, may not seem scary to some but we've spent over 4 times that 2 years ago and the way prices of food is going up I am finding it very scary!

    Anyway here goes

Friday - Pie, peas and chips
Saturday - beef ravioli (not hm) in hm tomato sauce with garlic bread
Sunday - Toad in the hole (save me buying a joint of meat)
Monday - chilli (chicken for DS1) with hidden veg and rice
Tuesday - burgers in rolls with salad and wedges
Wednesday - something with cod and prawns? grilled cod with potatoes for DSs
    Thursday - out I think

Right so for that lot I need - salad veg, chopped tomatoes, potatoes and something to go with the fish/prawns....then will need some lunch things ham, cheese and will make some biscuits/brownies this weekend.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200

    Hi all,

Here goes (in no particular order):
    - Pasta bake with lots of vegetables
    - Sausage & mash
    - HM egg fried rice with shop bought chicken tikka
    - Corned beef casserole
    - Sunday roast
    - Bubble & squeak (fry some onions to bulk out a little, add leftovers from roast and cook, yum)
    - HM stew (from freezer) & gordon pots
    - Spagetti carbonara

Like lil_me, I mix and match as to whether I buy a joint for the Sunday roast. Sometimes use HM stew or buy cold meat. Didn't think of serving toad in the hole, that's a good idea.

    Have a great week.

Hello! :D I am late this week but here's my plan from Saturday 3rd May:

Sat - Sausage, baked beans and cheesey mash with chopped wild garlic (nomnomnom)
Sun - BF's parents for dinner - bought most of a cooked chicken home
Mon - Shepherds Pie, carrots, peas and sweetcorn (used the leftover mash from Saturday to top)
Tues - Tuna pasta bake from the freezer for me, sauage, jacket pot and veg for BF
Wed - Chicken Stirfry with noodles
Thurs - Mexicano chicken and rice
Fri - HM Fish and chips with peas and sweetcorn

I did a big cooked bacon joint last week which did us for sarnies all week but there's was quite a bit left so I made my BF's sarnies for this week too and put them in the freezer. I made loads of cakes and bakes over the weekend for his lunchbox too and I'll be mostly having HM soup for lunches this week.

No meal plan for us this week, we've been away all weekend until last night and now OH has gone away this morning for a week :j ;) so me and DD will just eat whatever is in the freezer/cupboards etc.

I'm determined not to go shopping apart from milk, fruit and salad until OH comes back, partly because if i could save a weeks shopping money it would really help at the moment and partly because i'm planning a HUGE batch cook in a few weeks to make sure we dont starve/have to live on takeaways for a couple of weeks when jellybean arrives and i need to make room in the freezer :)

    Take care all
