Sorry could not let this thread go on without speaking out here.
With all due respect minmike2 it depends on the size of company you work for. Not everyone/comoany get get away with a small broker fee and proc fee combined.
Tunnelling fixed fee brokers/packagers into a corner isn't the way forward. If we want to charge £xx fee and the client is happy sobeit.
I am sorry sorry this fee free etc debate makes my blood boil. we turn around very heavy adverse applications in 3-4 weeks and are worth every penny for the borrowers who initially think they are unmortgageable.

I care not the size of the company. 3.5% Broker fee is excessive.
Im not saying do it for free....I wouldnt.....but with that % fee the company should be called !!!!!! Turpin mortgages.0 -
