csl debt collectors.....aaargghghghhg - help please?

have i put my foot in it by phoning csl? they have been hassling me with phone calls for ages - if this is .......press 1, etc...i have just put the phone down...this morning i received a letter saying they are coming to pay me a visit....i phoned them and told them as they arent bailiffs they need a court order and if they come visit they are trespassing - i know now they know im me - i have spoke to them and shouldnt have...but - have i now put my foot in it?she insisted they are allowed to visit for a chat about my debt and will still be....any advice please?thanks

Yes, they can call, BUT if you ask them to leave they must do so. You are under no obligation to engage in conversation whatsoever.

thanks for your reply...its a catalogue debt that ive taken down the signed credit agreement route - none exists - its been going on over a year now and none has shown up - its been passed back and forwards between debt collectors ever since...i think this is the fourth one....thanks0

OK so theres no enforceable agreement , I think all you can do is try a complaint to OFT . Have you sent the default letter to them , seems that your details should not have been passed on .0

thanks for that stape....does that mean if the original company doesnt have the signed credit agreement to give to me they are not allowed to pass this debt to a debt collection agency?thanks0
