Short term mortgage

Hi,
I am 55 years of age and currently receive a moderate private pension.
I currently own a house valued approx £130,000 (mortgage is now paid off). I am trying to sell this house and may have to drop it's price slightly for a quick sale.
I am urgently wanting to purchase a house in another area for approx £140,000.
I have some cash tied up with a money manager which I could draw on, but I would rather that was kept to a minimum.
It appears that a short term mortgage would be my best option. (Until I sell my house).
Any suggestions as to my best course of action (E.g. what type of mortgage, which company gives the best rates etc.).
Thanks in anticipation.

You would have to find a good rate, with no Early Repayment Charges - your income would also have to be sufficnet to justify the loanI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
