Gumtree - good place to look for work

Hi all,

Hope it is ok to post this. I have just found some great work - working from home earning £8 per hour for entering information into an Excel spreadsheet. It is just temporary but a much needed money injection!

I found it on the gumtree website. There is one for most major cities in the UK and the one for London (where I live) has lots of jobs - just bits and pieces - one-off weekend work, work from home, one day temping work etc.

It is definitely worth have a look every now and then.

Thanks.

Am i right in thinking that anything where you have to email a 'gmail' address is a bit dodgy?

Or at least the 'gmail' bit is.

I often look - some are a bit pervy mind you!!
    Smile!

I would ask anyone looking at Gumtree to be very wary of scams as ou could very easily bag yourself a criminal record. I once came across one "Work from Home" job, and this wasn't even with a gmail address. It was someone@callysantiques or something claiming to be an antiques shop somewhere in England which mostly dealt with foreign customers. They required someone to help interact with the foreign customers, and also pay suppliers for antiques. You had to of course submit your bank details for payment - And oh, by the way your first pay would be an irrational sum of about £2,500 - £300 of which you kept and the rest which would be forwarded to the "supplier" in Russia. Don't buy it. The money came from an Insurance company called Coversure which they claimed was owned by one of their suppliers.
