We applied on line for a personal loan with your personal loan.co.uk.
Within 5 mins of the online application we received a call from Freedom Finance saying they we had been unsuccesful with the loan application and they could help us. We thought it was a scam and ignored the phone call. Within 24hours we received the email from personal loan.co.uk informing us that our application had been unsuccesful and to contact freedom finance with the same reference number, as they would be able to help - do you think the application was ever processed??????????

There would have been something buried in the terms and conditions allowing personalloan.co.uk to 'sell' their declined applications to freedom finance.

I'm sure your application was processed, but it may be that you didn't meet their criteria from the application form, even before they did a credit search on you.

Without you posting how much you wanted to borrow, how much you earn, how long you have been in current job, what other credit card and unsecured debts you have and what your credit history is like it is impossible to suggest whether there has been a mistake.

Often these 'best buy' loans are hard to get, because they cherry pick the very best (low risk) customers.
