Welcome Finance

Hello everyone

Yesterday I was offered an unsecured loan by Welcome for £750 over 24 months with repayments of £54.11 per month. I have read all of the horror stories on here regarding this company but I am desperate.

My girlfriend has a baby on the way and I need a lump sum of cash up front before the little one arrives. It is no good me posting an SOA because there is no way I can wait a couple of months to begin reaping the rewards. I cannot borrow this amount from family or friends and my credit rating is shocking.

I am expecting the paperwork to arrive today and as it is a no obligation quote, nothing is agreed yet.

Any advice would be appreciated.

You could have £1000 off a real bank for that if they will accept you. have you tried your bank?

Unfortunately, my bank won't touch me. As i said, my credit rating is terrible. I have tried everywhere else with better APR etc.

It's fine if you can pay it back. The money will go out of your account for 2 years and job done. However, when the child is here and needs clothes and food, can you honestly pay back an additional £50odd a month?

BTW it's not me who needs that answer, it's yourself.
