    It's a long story...but on 20th July last year my annus horribilis started with my house being destroyed by floods...I'm not back in yet...but hope to be in August. Two other major disasters then followed in it's wake...the last one being my hand/arm last month...better to read the thread Piglet has kindly started for me I think.

    Anyhow....I have 12days left of hiding under the duvet before I'm hoping it's safe to come out;) ...and dressing gown day today for me too was absolutely marvellous:D

    I must go and get some sleep.DD looks too ill for school so have sick child tomorrow to entertain not looking forward to that. I'm just a bad mother.

    i remember when i was a painter and decorator, i had to sleep on the sofa, but always fell off it when making love, loved a matt finish ;).....gawd blimey, you can tell im getting tired

    Thats awful I'm lucky we didn't get much round here. DD's school got flooded and she was happy but then school cancelled inset days to make up for it. Now lots of sad kids!
