Hi Piglet,
I'm actually an animal person, but I love walking and dogs seem to dig that too.
Major issue in my life - i'm allergic to dogs (and cats)! It just came out of the blue when I was about 16, heavy hayfever-like symptoms when I make a fuss of dogs/cats and presumably disturb whatever is in their fur.
Answer: ferrets. They are hypo-allergenic, and have the personality of dogs!Virtual sealed pot challenge #036 - 19/01/09-1/12/09 = £483.71/£750

Bill Hicks: "<some joke regarding Catholics>. I'm sorry if any of you are Catholic.
I'm not sorry if you're offended, I'm actually just sorry if you're a Catholic."
Sorry, but I love that.
Apparently my mum's family were catholic until the priest made some disparaging remark about them and they refused to go back.
I really don't mean to upset anyone but just think religion is used as an excuse for so may arguments and wars. I truly believe that everyone is entitled to their own beliefs (and I know a lot of people would have a problem with mine) but we have to have a sense of humour about these things.Reality check - hit rock bottom on 15 Dec 2008 with unsecured debts of £29,136 and not enough money to live on

I'm not going to get into anything related to religion. It's the kind of discussion that can never go anywhere but down.
Unforunate position for an evangelical atheist...but I am rather tired at the moment.
Tomorrow, I'll be ready for battle

Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Ferrets are, pretty much, the cutest animals ever. Life and attrition means we only have one left - Consequence - but she's still sharp as a sword. They are really amazing animals, whose reputation normally gets obscured behind their usage as rabbit hunters.
As a *big* fan of zombie movies (proper ones, not the tat you get these days
) and a keeper of pet ferrets, you can appreciate the difficulty you have proofing any situation against the walking dead when you can't even manage it against a ferret! They are versatile, affectionate, athletic, intelligent and - occasionally - bitey
