You poor thing..That is such a !!!!!! thing to happen..........:A
At least you can be positive and have quality time with him. I know that is really hard, but maybe really plan the good things you can do together, little treats................does that make sense. sorry if i am stepping on toes...but when my friend had leukemia, we used to plan surprises to cheer her up.
One day we all dressed up and held a party on the ward, with stupid presents the dumbest things we could think of. We laughed till we cried..it was such a great day..still talk about it now:o
Another time when she was really ill, it was something as simple as messages recorded for her by friends and family. Then little trips out when she began to recover. It is surprising as there would sometimes be a gap between visits, but the plans made it so much more, and memories were held onto inbetween.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
