VLADTHEIMPALA wrote: »What a lovely day :j Went into town about 11.30, on foot, did some fiscal pingpong between several banks, went into the Heart Foundation shop and bought a copy of Richard Branson's 'Screw It, Let's Do It. Then wandered back along the beach, sat and read some, got inspired, took my shoes and socks off and walked home through the sea. Stopped to watch two lady policemen try to book a bloke for skinny-dipping - that drew a crowd (I was far more interested in the women in uniform, but I thought about you lot as the beach filled up). When I moved on I came unstuck trying to get my leg over a groin. I have one arm and one foot that look like they've been mauled by a tiger because I fell off and slid down the barnacles. But it was worth it.
Just off to write to the FOS about unWelcome.

Now when you have read the book, i would sell it on Amazon as i just made a tidy profit from flogging his book:D

Interesting couple of days...the brakes on my car failed yesterday as I was driving home through the hills. Got home safely (#1 reason why manuals will always be superior to automatics
), and started looking for another car. Already knew my old one would need replacing soon, so it's not a bolt from the blue. Checked out various cars, then found one that's 9 years old...with *11000* miles on the clock (average for the age of the car is 90000 miles)...located 2 minutes walk from my house.
Checked it out - completely legit. It's virtually new, in immaculate condition, runs excellently and came in at 66% of my budget. That's what I call a case of the right time and the right place!
Called the fire brigade and donated my old car to them - they use them for rescue practice, jaws of life, etc. May stop by and take a look at it with the roof removedVirtual sealed pot challenge #036 - 19/01/09-1/12/09 = £483.71/£750
