Hi Piglet!!

I'm here but posting difficult. Lost use of right arm/hand last sunday..(severed tendons to two fingers...now plastered and immobile up to elbow...yes I'm right handed:rotfl: ).courtesy of one of Smashed's nephews:eek: !! Still...made it to Cardiff for Springsteen last night...albeit by train and taxi rather than driving...and it was BRILL :j :j :j

So will be lurking mainly as mustn't overexercise LH on keyboard.

Amazing what you can (and cant) do With only one arm. Generally managing well but here are the really difficult ones:
eyeliner (keep blinding myself) :eek:
all vegetable chopping....and noone sells pre-packed chopped onions!!
bras....luckily lost so much weight late last year I now havenothing to support:o
and before you say it...moist wipes have really sorted the personal hygiene issue:cool:
but... the biggest one of all is driving. Taxis here EXHORBITANT:eek: :eek: :eek:
Buses dont go where you need to go, and trains only go from stations that are £30 taxi ride away. Guess I'm a bit housebound for next 4-6 weeks
and I am still out of the house which was flooded and in rented house many miles from people I know so few people I can call on to help out.

Still...not as bad as I thought it would be.
Anyway long post for poor left fingers...take care y'all. I am here...but need to post in moderation ATM.

POOR WOL, i would offer help but suspect i am far away from yourself.

And Mr. Bob is totally jealous of the Springsteen concert.
I can only say that i am sure you are very resilliant and will find a way..i know you can get dried onions and farm foods do frozen ones in a bag, if that helps.

15l our way piglet, i am a bit worried as i work on supply and have to be able to get to the schools. I reckon the first question theyll ask is ..have you got any petrol?
