Diagnosis of a health issue always seem's like such a bad blow, though speaking from experience my thoughts were:
I had it anyway diagnosed or not
Diagnosis means you can understand the illness, symptoms, implications etc
Diagnosis means you can get help with dealing / treating / reducing symptoms
Diagnosis means you can get understanding / empathy from others
Diagnosis means you can go on forums and chat with others in the same boat and get/give support and help.
The illness may be pants the diagnosis is good in MY opinion.

i am on meds for my madness legally prescribed. that is my excuse who wants a brew,prozac,valium etc lol
