I had endometriosis from being about 18, but the docs would not listen. So when we tried for a family when i was about 30 and things did not happen, We found the endo, had spread so far that it had for want of a better word. Strangled my overies, My bowel and bladder were fused together. For those that dont know about endometriosis, its the lining of the womb that is not shed during a normal period. But instead sheds outside the womb and gets into all the cavities it can find. And leaves scar tissue all over the ruddy place. They are called adhesions. And they grow, sort of, like the roots of a tree. Its not good. And i would not wish it on my worst enemy. I have not looked back since i had it done. The best thing is having a clear head with not being hooked on painkillers. And a little tip for all you girlies. If you do suffer with really bad period pains and heavy periods, get it checked out, If the doc tells you, you are to young to have the condition then kick him in the bowlarks and say you want a scan. thats spooky smashed i used my calculator(too late for sums!) a few mins ago to work out how many posts to go til 5000 as i too saw it wasnt long
