Normally I work for a lawyer who is a complete workaholic and I spend my time typing emails for him. He is on a 3 month sabbatical (unpaid leave - nice if you can afford it lol) so I am in what is called "DPU (Document Production Unit)" doing all the c**p jobs that the daytime secretaries don't want to do.:rotfl: I've been in here a week and they are treating me like an office junior I'm not very happy.
Smashed - you have a much more meaningful job than me, mine is purely for financial gain.:rotfl:
do you get better rates of pay for night work? how do you find it when days/nights off roll around?0 -
Can't sleep so a few hours on here might make me snooze. I just knew that I shouldn't have had that afternoon nap because now I am wide awake:mad:
Off to play - see you soon:D0 -

Just Me - I just realised I haven't done my strange stalker thing to you that I do whenever I find out that someone else is in London. Where do you live (roughly, obviously, I am not that weird - oh and clearly won't be upset if you tell me to bog off)
I live way out in the East End and work in the square mile (just)£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Yeah I get normal salary plus 10% shift allowance plus a travel allowance.
I work Mon, Thur and Fri. If I'm really tired I'll try and catch an hour or two nap when the girls are at school and on a Saturday my hubs and girls know not to disturb me before at least 9am.:DLightbulb moment: 14 May 2008Debt free date: April 2014DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 188Nightowl Member No 160
