Aww poor bubbles. For wine on a budget, Lidl do a lovely merlot (purple label) and it's like...€1.79, which is about £1.50 odd a bottle, dunnow if it's in England too but it's worth a look if you're near one.

Howdy, I haven't posted on this thread before but not sure why as I am a complete insomniac. Just popped in to pass on a recommendation from redsquirrel - she reckons that the cheap £2.32 tesco wine is drinkable in red and white

I'm sure she would be happy to pass on a description of the bottle for easy location if you PMd her, I don't think she is on the forum at the mo
