oh no, im comming to the end of me cuppa..do i stay and be knackered tomorrow, or go and be back about 5ish? or may just have 1 more cuppa and only be a little knackered tomorrow.....ere smasher, i got myself out of work for saturday afternnon, so i can now go over to the radio1 big weekend on saturday..and enjoy it...still gotta work there sunday though

Hi everyone and I thought I was in the minority for trying as hard as I could to get to sleep and then end up watching day break. Spent so many nights before now (in fact years) jumping from forum to forum to see if there was anyone about.

I don't think people who manage to get their 8 hours understand how frustrating it is when no matter what you do you cannot get to sleep. I always end up mulling round trying to do quiet jobs so I don't wake the rest of the family and in between trawling the forums to see what's about. There is only so much rubbish you can watch on the tv. :doh: I made rhubarb crumble at 4.00 am Saturday morning :rotfl:

I was hoping the heat of today would make me tired, only trouble was that I went out for lunch with DS1, went back to his house and then slept for an hour, so that's me for the night. Am busy going through about 7 loads of washing for him now at my house, his washing machine gave up the ghost about 4 weeks ago and he didn't want to bring it round to me because I have been ill for some time. Grrrr kids, sometimes you can strangle them, what are mother's for??? I have to say though you would think he had a family of 10 the amount of towels there are, he lives on his own. Only 2 loads of clothes and the rest are all towels. Oooh hang on the tumble dryer is beeping and if I get the clothes out quick enough and fold them then there's no need to iron them.....

Ahh that's better, all folded and only another 6 loads to go :eek:

I have been a night owl for nearly 12 years now since my brother died suddenly, what's the story with everyone else???

Hi there, i started this thread as there are somy people in same boat thar are up fretting about stuff and having noone or nowhere to go to talk. And while you are talkikg on here you will not be fretting so much. My story is mixed nights and day shifts. And i cant help but really dont like sleeping or cant sleep when there are thinks on mid

kath, the story with me is that im on too early, dont normally get here til gone 4..normally up for work by then..so pop on here for a few morning giggles with smasher and the crew
