whats the % saying to do with spends/save/charity?

I am sure many of you posted on the 'young people paying board' thread about the % rule. Where you pay a % of your income on board/bills, saving, spends and charity. I may be totally wrong but does anyone know it?

I think it was a third to each..... a third on board, a third to save and a third as spends.....

We do thirds here too, well that was the original agreement, think it needs tweaking a bit though.
