Opinions on menu

Hi all, haven't posted in ages but I need some opinions. I've invited my boyfriend's pregnant sister and her husband over for dinner so we can catch up, have something tasty and not spend loads on food by doing it at home. I'm just a bit nervous about the menu as I don't want to give her something she shouldn't be eating. So, can you all have a look at my menu below and see if you think it sounds ok?
Marinated chicken pieces (marinated in soy sauce, honey, tomato sauce and garlic)
Oven roasted new potatoes (just covered in olive oil and salt and pepper)
Rocket, tomato, cucumber, carrot and celery salad with oil dressing (oil dressing contains olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, sugar, and pepper)
Crusty rolls
Any advice/opinions greatly welcomed!!

Hiya
It all looks fine to me, just make sure that all the salad is throughly washed and that the chicken is piping hot throughout. I don't think theres anything there on the 'forbidden' list but they keep changing what you can/can't have so maybe check on a pregnancy website if your unsure.
Sounds yummy anyway, me and jellybean would love it - wesalad!!

That sounds good. I can't see anything there see would be unable to eat. Whenever I am roasting new potatoes I sprinkle so cumin seeds over before putting them in the oven which is really tasty.

I'm 6 month pregnant and can't see any problems with the menu. Sounds delicious.
Just make sure the potatoes haven't got any green on them or that they have sprouted.
Green-sprouting potatoes contain toxins called alpha-solanine and alpha-chaconine, which are harmful to your developing foetus and linked to spina bifida. Don't just cut off the green bits – the whole potato is affected even once the green bits are removed.0 -
Sounds great and very bump friendly to me! If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
