Mortgage Term Query

I originally took out a mortgage over a 25 year term - due to end 2016, I have moved house twice and re-mortgaged 3 times, not extending the original term of the mortgage however I notice that my mortgage seems to have an additional 3 years added to its term. I guess when I re-mortgaged the term was rounded up - can this be right? It seems I will be paying additonal interest for the 3 years.

Any thoughts or help greatly appreciated.

you can reduce the term back to 2016 if you want to just contact the lender
and ask if its possible. some charge a small fee and some will do it for free
but your payments will go up !
you will also pay less interest because you are repaying the loan over a
shorter term. your decision GOOD LUCK
