i took my sister swimming last sunday & they said they only accept the vouchers on a Saturday!!

dont know if this has been posted but I get Kellogs Start cereal which today cost £1.89 from Tesco.
On it is a voucher for a free swim at selected swimming pools.

At most if not all a standard swim is more than the cost of the cereal so you can in effect buy it, throw the cereal away (or give it to a charity where the cereal will be eaten, just in case Gordon is reading) and get a swim cheaper, thus still saving money.

Been buying Kellogg's cereals for some time now for the free swim vouchers - my boys went twice last weekend and gave their friends vouchers too - we get through a lot of cereal! Been waiting for another multibuy promotion to stock up - Tesco had some of the cocopop varieties on a 2 for £3 offer a while ago.

please note all swimming pools do not accept them so it is worth checking before you buy all the cereal. they have stopped them in Coventry, due to kids cutting them out of the back of the box in the supermarket !

Have been on Ebay today and noticed that these 'swim' vouchers sell for anything up to £1 each.

Useful for anyone with a few mounting up that they won't use (if they are prepared for the hassle of selling on Ebay of course!)

Or for people looking to grab a few as they seemed to have bundles of these abit cheaper

Just to let you know, Nestle are doing something similar. On their boxes, you can get a free swim, or other things like squash or badminton session. Nestle Coco Shreddies are on Bogof at Tesco at the mo, so £1.74 for two boxes and two swim (or squash, etc) vouchers. Just checked with my local swimming pool, and they take both the Nestle vouchers and the Kelloggs vouchers.

I didn't buy the cereals especially for the swim, just because my family eat them anyway - good job too, as there are only 3 pools listed within 30 miles! As a matter of interest I phoned to check and only 1 was participating due to mis-use ~ what a joke!!!!:mad:
I'd have to travel at least 30 miles, (60 round trip) and with the cost of diesel and time - it's far more expensive than the pool 1/2 a mile away!

I personally would write to Kelloggs and complain ... It is up to them to ensure the validity of these vouchers ... The terms state that pools can vary times etc ... but no option simply to opt out of their own accord ...
