Most reliable we've had is a Bosch, we'd had one for years and it's never let us down. Simplicity itself to use. The more expensive ones have more features and such fast spin cycles washing is much drier than other models.
My parents purchased one first after extensive reading of Which reviews in the 1990s. It's been going strong for around 15 years now. The German brands in general tend to be excellent (like Bosch, AEG, Miele etc), and much better than other makes. Good prices available on-line for a variety of models, and local shops should price match if you prefer to deal with a friendly retailer.0 -

Same here Ive been looking for a washing machine that can take on my family of 5. Ive been scouring the internet for the best machines for a reasonable price and have decided to get the HOTPOINT WT761P 7kg Ultima Washing Machine.
Its has some great reviews and its a reasonable price (for me anyways as I was looking for something under £300), I also find that most online shops charge a lot on delivery and after a few hours of looking around I found these two companies that offers the best deals:-
MARKS ELECTRICAL
SHOP4ELECRICALS
Both of these shops includes delivery on the prices.
I hope this helps.0 -
Dare i say Hotpoint don't always get the most favourable comments on reliability. Zanussi, Bendix and Bosch are better for reliability according to 'Which'.0
