Hi
I purchased a set fo 4 smallish tubs from Wilkinsons a couple of weeks ago. The lid of each one is made from the same stuff as the freezer ice packs. I got them thinking they'd be great in the kids lunch boxes for hm yogurts etc.
I used one for the first time on Monday, DS2 (10 yo) brought it home unopened bless him he couldn't get the lid off and he was soooo looking forward to eating it as well.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to loosen these up in order to make them easier to use? Even I have to fight to open it and end up getting covered with the yogurt :rotfl: DH enjoyed it tho as it made a change from whipped cream!! Oops sorry tooooo much info!

Banana Lovers
Buy your bananas in bunches of 5 on Sunday. Then arrange them in order of ripeness and write a day of the week on each banana in felt pen, Monday on the ripest, Friday on the greenest to save time making those decisions on a hectic weekday morning

You could try brushing the edge of the tubs with a little and I do mean very little amount of oil and see if that helps

Tell the children to ask the dinner ladies to open them for them?? That is what my lot do.. are they the ones with the blue lids? We have problems with ours!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Pigpen - my son is too scared to ask for help at lunch time. One of the dinner ladies is my friend and neighbour - she's known him since he was a baby yet he still won't ask for help! Grr.
Ravy - I will try the oil.
When the lids aren't frozen he can get them off fairly easily it's just when they are solid that its a hard job. They don't seem to be very flexible!Banana LoversBuy your bananas in bunches of 5 on Sunday.
