CCj and Bailliffs

I just wanted to check something.
I have an outstanding CCJ, they have sent the bailiffs round and I have had a letter saying that a locksmith and van will come and force entry to remove my property. I thought they had to gain peaceful entry (they have not been in and I haven't signed anything). Also there is no bailliff company name on the letters, they use the court logo nd say they are from the courts. Is this scare tactics? I have written once and they seem to have ignored my letter.

Hi
You need to provide more information.
What is the debt for? For how much and exactly which court do they claim to represent? If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

Would strongly recomend that you go to Herbie's site and get advice from her. She knows the law on bailiffs a lot better than they do.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Hi,
it is HSBC debt claimed through County Court (this debt has also been secured on my property now) for £9k (i don't own that much stuff!)
I have written to them asking about arranging monthly payments. I know some people may be asking why I let it get to this but I have been struggling with mental health issues and not in my right mind for a year or so (slowly getting better!)0 -
Thanks
As a starting point there is a letter for vunerable people that you need to send that will buy you a bit of time.
Secondly, please do contact Herbie21 ASAP. See her site or pm here from here.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Here is the letter, from another post by herbie
The following is a template letter from our website that can be changed or adapted to suit your personal circumstances.
To: Bailiff Company
Date:
Dear Sirs,
Re: Account reference.
I refer to your letter dated (enter date) informing me that your company have been instructed by (enter local authority) to enforce a warrant/liability order etc against me, in respect of (a parking charge notice/council tax etc).
In your letter you state that you will be visiting/returning to my home to (seize/auction etc my goods.) unless full payment of (enter amount) is made by return.
The purpose of this letter is to advise your company that I believe that (my/our) circumstances fall within the category as contained within the National Standards for Enforcement Agents of “vulnerable situations”. The reason for this is that (explain your circumstances, and provide some evidence, if possible) see note below).
Accordingly, I would like to request that you do not visit my property as this would cause undue stress and anxiety and would incur me in additional fees that I would be unable to repay. Instead, I would like to request that you (return this case back to the local authority/or accept payment terms as outlined etc)
I would be grateful if you could confirm safe receipt of this letter, and confirmation that (payment terms have been agreed/or case returned to the council)
I am copying this letter to my Local Authority. (ensure that you keep a copy)
Yours Faithfully.

Can you get that in the post today, registered mail?If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
OK,
I am going out now to get stamps etc.
Everything will be locked up.
Anyone know if they can take items from a locked back yard? My scooter is parked there. I know they can climb into the garden but can they then break the lock on the gate to take an item?0 -
Punky
You ned to get hold of Herbie. She will contact the bailiffs and she has such a reputation that they will take notice.
But do get that letter off first as it is a really good starter. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

I am so sorry.....I have been in London all day/
This is serious. The debt is being enforced by High Court Enforcement Officer. This is entirely different to a Bailiff and the fees that most of them charge are staggering.
Despite what they say to you....do not let them into your property.0
