This might sound like a really dumb thing to ask but......
I have 4 chicken breast steaks at home in the freezer, i would like to make my own breadcrumbs, coat the chicken in them and cook it
but where do i start? How do i make the breadcrumbs stick to the chicken? Egg/Milk?
Also what temp do i cook it at and for how long? I want the chicken to cook but for the breadcrumbs not to burn.
I must sound sooooooo stupid right now.
Many Thanks
Maria

Dip the chicken in cornflour, then egg then roll in breadcrumbs.
I usually then fry them in a little oil and bung them in the oven for 20 minutes0 -
Breadcrumbs will stick if you dip the chicken in beaten egg. Double dip (i.e. egg, crumbs, egg, crumbs) for a better coating.
(I do this with bitesized chunks of chicken for HM chicken nuggets)
Cook on GM5 (180?) for about 30 minutes, if you want it to go browner crank the temp up0 -
Try to use some stale bread and blitz this with some herbs- not too many or it will turn your breadcrumbs green!
Then I would dip in beaten egg, seasoned flour, back into the egg and then in the breadcrumbs. I would always brown slightly in a little oil in a pan first to get a good colour and then cook in the oven, I'm not very good with temps and timings but just split a bit of chicken to see if its cooked inside or not.
Hope this helps0 -
