Options
hiya all, dont no if this needs to be in this sec but here goes.
WE have a mortgage of abouts 84k
one personal loan for 8k at £391 per month
credit card for £200
and a overdraft for £350
We are wanting to to get a sercured loan to pay off personal loan, c card and od.
But im abit worried that it will affect us when we come to remortgage in june 2009.
We would be wanting about 10k so we have a little left over for home improvments.
Is it worth getting one?
And is there any bad points we should no about?

    Hi and welcome
Secured debts are never a good idea!!!!
Can you contact CCCS for some professional advice or how about posting a full SOA for us to have a look at?

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    Hi

Please never ever secure debt against your home. If the worst comes to the worts, you can pay £1 per month off unsecured debt if things go pear-shaped. In those circumstnaces, with a secured loan, you could lose your home instead.

Talk to one of the debt charities and put an SOA up on here so we can find ways of paying this off without jeopardising your future.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing
