Yes, our Lidl do this regularly, they reduce the price and then if it doesn't sell they will sit a big box at the checkout and tell you to help yourself! I like to pick up their brown rolls as they make a really nice light breadcrumb

I've never seen any reduced food in Lidl - I'm in Surrey. Do they reduce food in all their Lidl's and if so, is it usually on a Monday morning or is it other times as well?Appreciate any replies.0

Never seen anything reduced in our Lidls but they do frequently give away excess bread, rolls and cake.0

Lidl in our area reduce items by 30%, used to be 50%. I have seen the reduced items everyday, just depends when they are going out of date. Usually first thing in the morning is a good time to check.0
