Homeowner & Tenant loans LTD -Legit?
Hiya,
Ive applied for a number of loans but was declined on all of them, however, this evening i got a phone call from a company called homeowner and tenant loans ltd, whom i cant find any information on over the internet.
They have agreed to loan me £7000 over 60 months, paying off £163 a month, but say there is a £49.50 one off administraion fee.
Has anyone heard of this company or do they sound dodgy??
Thanks
Kate

they will be a broker and they will take your 49.50 and then will be either unable to find you a loan at all or it will be rediculously expensive.

They sound very similar to Walker and Hammond. W&H claim to be a broker and take about 50 quid and do nothing for your money. Companies like this often (if they do actually get a loan from a lender) get you a loan which is not the required length, or not the stated amount or even the stated APR. I would be very wary.
Check out the Walker and Hammond threads. Loads of people have lost their £50 and this seems to sound very familiar.
In saying that, I may be barking up the wrong tree.LBM - 30/07/09

SCAM!!!
I own a loan company and never charge an' administration fee'
If you canot get a loan on your own, then these rip-off companies will not get you a loan either...Do not pay it...throwing your money away.

I have just applied for a loan for £2000 via YES loans and they took £59 off my credit card today for an admin fee, they said that I have been approved for the money and they told me about how much per month I will be paying, has anybody dealt with YES loans before?Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

Say goodbye to the £59.
Yes Loans used to be Yes Car Credit, and had to dissolve the company for malpractice..They just started up under another name. Not too dissimilar from the original.0 -
Had a letter off them this morning, saying i have been accepted in principle,
what does this mean? is this a sure sign its a scam?
thanks0 -

Not a sure sign. I applied for a loan over the Internet with Halifax and they sent me an e-mail saying that I had been accepted in pronciple. I think this is simply an indication from the bank before they send the information to the underwritersLBM - 30/07/09

Do not pay any fee for a loan unless you never want to see that fee again. It has taken me 5 months to reclaim my money back from yes loans.0
