    Thanks for the advice, xadoc!
Will try to go to my local Game store tomorrow to see if they've got any Gamecubes. Actually I might go to Gamestation as well to see what they've got on offer. The "Pre-owned gamecube plus 2 games for £24.99" sounds quite good as well, and it sounds like they might have more decent games than Game.

I don't know who's more excited, me or my 6 year old son!

Hi, can anyone tell me if Gamestation or anywhere is still doing any deals on the games alone, I have already bought the console which came with the pokemon collesum a while ago and put it away for my five year olds birthday but I would like to get a couple more games like the mario or sonic ones, are they still doing any deals anywhere, can't seem to see any online anywhere.

    Hi littel,
I went into the Gamestation in Croydon last week and saw that YES, they do still have the "4 games for £10 for selected games" offer on. But they only had about 10 games on the shelf and none of them were for the 5-year-old type age group that you were talking about and that I am interested in too.
I also looked in Game and CEX - the branch of Game I was in said they don't stock Gamecube games or consoles any more. But CEX had quite a lot of games so if you want to buy in person I reckon they would be your best bet, if you've got a shop nearby. Otherwise they do have a website (see link in previous message in this group).
But if you do want to buy online, Ebay seems to be best in my opinion. There is the widest choice of Gamecube games available, but of course you never know how much you will have to pay for them!

As a follow up to my previous message above, I looked at the Gamecubes in Gamestation (£24.99 for GC plus 2 games under £15), and decided against buying one from there because they didn't have any games that appealed.
I have ended up buying a console plus games package on Ebay for £30 incl 4 games (SuperMario Sunshine, Sonic Heroes, Jimmy Neutron Jet Fusion and Donkey Konga plus Bongos). Of course have had to pay postage on top of that, but as far as I can see its a fairly reasonable price, because of the games and especially the Bongos! (Gamestation had some in stock under a 2 GC accesories for £19.99 deal, by the way - but they didn't seem to have any other accessories available!!).

Again, thanks to Xadoc and all the other posters for all the info and advice!
    Regards,
    Yogini108
