Hi,
Was wondering if someone could help me, or point me in the direction of a standard stock letter that might be of use.
I owe just over £1,000 to Robinson Way. They have put a hold on this account of four weeks and have asked me to supply them with a proposed payment plan. That is fine.
I am signed off long term sick and that is not going to change any time soon, so I don't have huge sums of money floating around. I intend offering a manageable amount to them each month once I have worked out my budget. Do I need to send them a copy of my budget or will they be happy to accept that £x is all I can afford?
Also, I want to offer £x per month but some months I might be able to afford to pay extra on top of the agreed sum and want to make sure that this is OK with them and I am not going to get charged for clearing the account earlier (this happened to a friend) so how would I word that?
Thanks in advance.
I have lurked around here for a while and learnt a lot from you guys.

Do you owe £1000 to RW?
Have you sent a CCA? And how old is the debt?
Other will help if you can let us know.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
The actual debt is £1,086.50 and it is from Southern Water. They passed the account onto Robinson Way.
It dates back to about 2004 - to present, including water bill to March 2009.
No, no CCA as I was told this is not applicable to water services. This is my debt, I don't argue with that and I intend paying it back. Just want to go about it in the best way.0 -
Anyone have any help?
Thanks.0 -
Hi, All you can do is explain the situation ,and make your offer . You should only offer a easily managed amount .0
