I did not get an email, and it nearly cost me the deal. Halifax seemed sheepish but lucky for me Abbey have just released a better rate, phew!
Keep it coming though, I have a feeling they kept some info back to manage work flow.

I got it too, I can't understand why you wouldnt get it if you normally get it. Very odd. Personally I dont know about you fellas but I'm sick to the back teeth of seeing emails about rate changes and criteria changes and packagers going bust. I really have to force myself to pay attention to them at the moment!I am a Mortgage Adviser

You mean you didn't send them to get a direct deal or try HSBC?

No, they needed a lot of advice and the deal was correct for what they wanted, long story!
I am getting feed up with lenders, if this goes on for to long then bye bye brokers.
We cant even charge a fee and apply for them, it has to go direct. You can charge £150-£250 for research but not £500 just to say go direct.
