I've just set up the Prima as a gift for my mum too, but don't worry about the email, as you can choose when to have the email sent. I've picked the 25th Dec for her email to arrive. You can even choose which e-card to send. Hope that helps.

I think its £5.40 per quarter. One thing to bear in mind is that the subscription will start with the March issue (sent in February), so if you are doing it for a gift, the recipient won't get it for a while. Hope that helps.
