Sorry if I have offended you. As a (fair skinned) woman who has grown up reading women's magazines, to me the term "olive skinned" does thinking about it, indeed, mean someone with darker skin who tans easily. But I did not use the term "olive skinned" in my post to avoid saying "dark skinned". In fact the idea that my Italian friend has dark skin hasn't even occured to me, I simply meant that her skin tone would be more suitable to this delicious coral/orangey lipgloss than my pasty, freckly skin...

I got my lipglosses and magazine yesterday as well! I am really pleased with them, I got apricot colour and gold.

got my wahl hair straightners yesterday plus a double cd of new woman tracks for my new woman sub. very impressed, only ordered last week. wasn't expecting the cd, but it's actually ok. not quite my thing, but all chart songs.

Last night I purchased Cosmopolitan Hair and Beauty online from subscription.co.uk using source code ao07. It clearly offered 1 year (12 issues) @ £9.99 and I paid by debit card. Yet when the confirmation email came it says, start issue: Jan/Feb 2006 delivered on or around 10/12/2005. Expiry issue: Summer 2006 delivered on or around 19/07/2006.
This morning I rang the customer services telephone number on the email and was told that if I had a problem I would have to ring customer services on an 0870 number. After a long and expensive call to the 0870 number the lady I spoke to offered to extend the subscription to August 2006. She tried to convince me that because the magazine comes out every two months, each magazine counts as two issues! She even went away for a while to speak to her supervisor and came back to tell me that her supervisor had confirmed that she was right!
I have spoken to a lady at Trading Standards about it and someone will contact me in three working days.
Has anyone else had this problem? Should I cancel the subscription? Or should I battle for the extra magazines?
