Tesco Deal Vouchers - Now with names on them

Just spoke to a friend last night.............who informed me that Tesco are now putting names on holiday deal vouchers.

Presumably this is to stop individuals buying or using someone else's Tesco clubcard vouchers and then getting them transfered over to an anonymous deal vouchers so that anyone can use them.

So it appears that they will now only be good for the person who is issued with the voucher in the first place.

Clearly this will stop people selling them on Ebay etc.

So be warned..........

Yup, can confirm this. My deal vouchers from the recent CC mailing have my surname on.

I guess that means that OH and I will have to merge our clubcards so both names are on there!

Names come on holiday, hotels and MFI vouchers.
But still plenty of opportunity to enjoy 'transferable' vouchers for days out, restaurants, other retailers, etc.

Clubcard vouchers have always had the name on. However, the DEALS vouchers (the ones you exchange your clubcard vouchers for) are starting to have names on, but not for all things. For instance Legoland deals vouchers sent to me didnt have name on but Cresta holiday vouchers did.

The T&Cs at the back of the my latest deals brochure states 'deals vouchers MAY have your name on'.

    Hope this clarifies.
