I think they will drop 10% ish and stay there for a decade

Everything seems to go in spurts and farts and houses have had a massive smelly guff of a spurty wet fart and now thats over.

The house I just bought is worth a pile less than I payed cos I been running round it with my crow bar like a tazmanian devil on crack.

I never truely understood my bionic abilities of house wreckage till now :)

We move in a week on sunday to and me old trout is well stressed :)

Just been there but i paid people small fortunes to wreck it ...

Houses are "worth" what they were always "worth" it's just people aren't paying stupid prices for them any more.

Also, I think we should clarify something.

Most houses are cost about £30,000.

It's the land they stand on that you're paying £250,000 for.
Bankruptcy isn't the worst that can happen to you. The worst that can happen is your forced to live the rest of your life in abject poverty trying to repay the debts.

Not surprised if you keep on sticking flags in it and trying to flog it on fleabay...

Dunno if you Mancs are familiar with the term "Mersey Trout" - prolly ends up in the Manky Shi? cAnal anyway.

Does this mark an official return to surreal HPC threads (in fond memory of #26)?

I would like to see you build a house for £30,000, for a decent size pad that would be the amount you need to just get out of the ground.

    House Prices will not correct

Oh pickles, what a silly statement.

To say house prices will not correct implies that you think house prices are in fact in-correct...

For something to correct it must be in-correct. Do you see what you have written you fool.
