Anyone get the 5k nectar points for legal & general life insurance yet?

I think it's time to cancel the legal & general life insurance through nectar as it was 3 months. Has anyone received the 5 thousand points yet?

Also can anyone remember if it was 3 months tro fulfill the terms?

    Nope...

    I thought it was "points credited within 28 days", but not 100% about that.

    'I was worried too so I called the Nectar Helpline about 10 days ago ... They said it could take between 8 to 10 weeks for them to go on ... but they did say if I still had not got them by March end I should call them back and they would add them manually ...' by Little Bill from the link above.

    Hi Surfsister ...

    I had to call and have mine added manually ... I rang the Sainsbury's Insurance number not the Nectar one and the chap emailed the official points-putter-on'r-man ... They arrived on my card within 7 days of this call ....

    Did you have to quote your Insurance ref number or anything..?
    Just so I know what to expect when I phone.

    Hi Fuzzgun ...

    I told them the date etc I had applied ... also the policy number ... said I had called twice t speak to Nectar with no joy ... they were very ok about it ... far more straight forward than calling Nectar ... Oh and don't forget your Nectar Card No. ....

    All this was 10 days ago ... they have had ages to add them ... if you went through Quidco as i did maybe it tripped something to say 'no points' ...

    I would call today ... you should have them on by next week ... the number is 0800 01 371 371

    Hi, I got my points last week which was a nice surprise as I'd completely forgotten about it and didn't really expect it with the cashback I got also, also had my Quidco payment which I think was £90 for this last month. I can't remember the exact date I signed up though. It must have been more than 12 weeks ago though as it'll no longer show me the date of clicking through on Quidco.

    I've called the number on my 'Legal & General' letter.
    The lady transferred me to the Sainsburys insurance dept, who took my name, address, DOB, Policy number, and nectar card number.

    She said she will put an action through to add the points, and I will receive them within 28 days.
    Hope she's right!

    I had the points within 2 weeks of the policy and had my quidco cashback as well.

    I have now had 5000 points added to each of my 2 accounts now.
