Hi
I got behind with a couple of credit cards & was offered, without asking, a £17,000 write off on 2 cards with 1 supplier on a debt of £28,000. I went back & got £18,000 written off and interest frozen without too much trouble. I have to pay the lump sum in a few months time, but is this kind of percentage write off (64%) normal?

Which cc providers are you with? Wonder if it is worth asking for a write off too?Challenges:
3 NSD per week0 -
Virgin & Alliance & Leicester - both MBNA. Got to be careful though as they told me it would show for 6 years on my credit history, need to ask that your credit reference file shows the account is satisfied in full.0
