What's better, being on electoral role or living in house for 5 years?

Hiya!

Very quick question for you.....

With regards to credit scoring and credit referencing agencies, which of the following 2 situations would be better for my score?

1 - Living at the same address for 5 years and NOT being on the electoral role

or

2 - Living at a new address for a matter of months AND being on the electoral role also??

Which would a creditor 'prefer' i.e. which would help my score the best???

Thanks in advance!!

Don't know for sure, but I'd guess that the second one would be better because they're bound to ask for previous address details anyway and will see that you had the previous address 5 yrs. I recently moved and got accepted for a new 0% card after just 2wks in the new address, so as long as they can relate it to your history and there's no problem credit anywhere then I'd hope that you'd be ok just to be as honest as you can with them and keep it simple.
