Hiya all, sorry for asking for assistance but i'm completely bamboozled...
Ok, so in preparation for tomorrows financial review i've had a copy of my credit report and right now it doesn't look for pleasant reading.
My large loan shown in my sig is currently with B Carter (fredriksen international) and I have made the outstanding balance £14405, based on interest frozen and payments of £100 per month.
Nationwide refuse to default this account showing me as being permanently 6 months in arrears with the repayments. As far as i am concerned interest had been frozen however i am now thinking this can't be the case as the balance just is not moving. It is currently recorded on equifax as 14819 outstanding:eek: last updated 10/04/2008. naturally i'm a tad miffed at that and wondering what on earth is going on!!!
Has anyone any ideas? do DCA's leave interest running? why would nationwide be leaving the account as marked "in arrears" and not have defaulted it as the others have?
Also I had a nationwide OD and this was on an arrangement to pay that finished well over a year ago. It had been defaulted but now appears twice on my credit reference. once with the default removed under my current address and another time under my old address with the default still apparent. Once again any ideas on how to get this rectified? any ideas why the same account would appear twice?
I'm quite keen to clean my record up as much as it can be just a little bamboozled by what is going on...
Help!!!:o

God knows. DCA's and CRA are alaw unto themselves. What i have gathered tho is some places take weeks to update record so the april update may relate to jans payment KWIM.
Why don't you contact the DCA in writting for confirmation of o/sbalance and 0% interest.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000
