Pension v ISA

Hi,
I used to have a final salary pension with a previous employer, which I have left in (paid in for 3 years).
Now just turned 36 and looking at where to invest for the future.
I have put the maximum into a cash isa each tax year for 5 years and have £3k invested in shares. My husband has a company pension that they contribute to.
Problem - my company only does a stakeholder pension, but I can do salary sacrifice and they'll put 10% in for employers NI saving. This seems like a good idea to me, but I only plan to stay with this employer for another year.
Question - should I pay into the company scheme for a year and if so how much or as a higher tax payer look into a shares isa?
My current salary is £49k.
Any advice gratefully received.
Thanks

Higher rate taxpayer with access to free money from the employer should always go for the pension, no question about it. Pay the max in that will get matching free money.Anything over, max out your S&S ISA.Trying to keep it simple...
