The general consensus is that the free digital camera is *pants* (to borrow one of Martin's expressions) but it is free and might be good to practice on or as a gift for kids?
I'll hunt out a link to one of the threads later for you.
*EDIT: HERE is one thread discussing the free digital camera. Looks like a slightly different offer from Which? but the camera will probably be the same*
Thanks. Never had a digi camera so it's basically to see how it works as opposed to being a serious camera, so the quality of photo's will not be important (and after that, if it still works, given to a kid!)0 -
Allexie wrote:Hand up here....I got it....not tried it yet though. Even if it is rubbish...the free batteries and mini-tripod-thingy are OK:D . The camera came really quickly but 2 wks later and I still hadn't received any copies of Which so I cancelled yesterday and got an email back today confirming my cancellation.
Good stuff! As long as I can cancel, that's all that matters0 -
Has anybody received this yet? I received a letter on the 6th July stating that my payment was being processed but they havent set it up from my bank account yet. Im getting a bit worried that theyre not letting me order anymore - Ive already gone for the new Zest offer as well!!!0

Im not a happy bunny  . I have just had an email about my Zest gift (St Ives). It states i will not be receiving my complimentary gift as their gifts are limited to one per year (per person) and i had a gift in January (think it was the original source). I was supposidly sent out a letter explaining this last month but i have never received this. They offered for me to join again!!! and i cannot understand why i have had the first Zest magazine from the offer when they said no direct debit was set up..0 -

They didnt send me a letter stating that youre only allowed one gift per year either, wonder if anyone else has had one. This may be a new rule as I know Ive received more than one gift in the past year with Zest. Oh well it was good while it lasted!
Has anybody actually received the St Ives gift?0 -

This is my first post, I hope I do this OK.
With all these subscriptions to mags, here is what I do & I never have any problems.
1 - As soon as your first payment is taken from your bank (check your statement), cancel that DD with your bank. That way, the companies can't mistakenly take any more money from your account.
2 - As soon as you receive the last issue for that particular offer, cancel your subscription ASAP with the company concerned. It is easiest to do this by email or phone. If cancelling by email, don't accept it has been canceled until you receive something in writing either by email or snail mail.
3 - Even if you have cancelled your subs, you are still entitled to your free gift. Keep hounding them until you receive your gift or an explanation.
4 - wait 1 month, & start the whole process again.
I find that mags are always changing their special offers, therefore, I always tear these pages out & keep them to be used the next time.
I hope this info helps as I notice the same concerns being raised time & time again.
