I signed up to this when it came up last year and am still getting the mag. It's still pants though (even at <50p per throw)

Not sure, got the confirmation email saying that they were about to deduct £11.99 straight away, so didn't stick around to find out, cancelled ASAP. I can't be bothered with paying then trying to get my money back anyhow, to many other freebies to be had!
LLDormouse wrote:Does this work like the Nuts offer on previous page, i.e. you pay £11.99 straight away but when you cancel, they will refund it?

I think it was mentioned a few pages ago when somebody said that you have to apply for a refund after you have received the mags.
Apparantly, somebody did it last year and got their money back without any problems.0 -

Well, I emailed the helpline for Now subscriptions and here's the reply:
Dear Mrs ,
Thank you for your email, we confirm that the direct debit will be taken once you have received the first six free issues.
Should you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact us.
Kind regards

I rang the number (01858 438 853) and quoted R125 and asked exactly what it was and the woman said it was 6 issues of Red magazine for £1. I can cancel anytime before the sixth issue to void my subscription.
Seems unfair that some only got 3 issues. Offer expires 30th April so take advantage while you can!0
