Woohoo off to a fantastic start all down to encouragement from MSE forums!

Just received a refund cheque from Renault Customer Services for £163.80 for faulty ignition coils we had replaced when car was only six weeks out of warranty. I only bothered to write and complain because of this challenge - normally I would have just grumbled about paying out and left it. I thought they might refund part of it but they refunded the whole lot!!

Thanks Batgirl for the brilliant challenge!!!

I Just wanted to congratulate you for taking on Renault and winning.

We have learnt today we need a part fitting to ours which will cost £520, they have agreed to pay 40% towards this, I am not happy as the garage say it is a known problem. We have had 3 Reanult's to date, but this has been nowt but trouble.

I am a regular reader of this thread and find some of your achievments amazing. I have been inspired in many ways. Well Done to you all.

I found £4.33 in one of my old bags :)

So total so far - £56.91/£310

Got about £60 refund to come later on this month after I've posted out the item I bought from eBay about 3 months ago and return it to the sender.

Well I started the challenge with earnest today and logged on to quidco, only to find £25 had cleared from betfair that I had completely forgotten about!!!!! Had the £5 taken off though but still £20 I didn't know about. Got another £89.50 tracking but won't include that yet. Also counted the pennies and have £7.50 so will include that, and planning to put 25p a day away every day that I don't buy a paper so will add that up at the end of the month.

I've just finished sigining up to all the Rpoints sites - what a marathon. Moving on to the free bets section - are there any pitfalls with these - any I should or shouldn't apply to?
Noobie (not so :D) trying to make loads a dosh - please bear with all my questions  Thanks :D

Hypno sent me over as I have no excuse not to crack the challenge this month after a busting start :)
    So far
Paddy Power-sent CS a complaining email about confusion over a bonus. They gave me a £20 bonus instead for bingo. First game I played I won ! £125 so banked it and then lost the rest of the bonus.
    Quidco payment £14 this month
Have picked up some invigilating work this month but will add that once I've been paid for it.
Am matched betting this month too so will add that as I go along-or maybe add it at the end of the month.
Sold a concert ticket -cheque arrived today so that's £43 to add
So £20 a day is £620 so will need to find other things too especially as some of the work (maybe all) won't pay out until next month-need to find some overtime at the regular job too. Tax is in a bit of a mess but if I sort it out that should net a small refund.
Total so far £182/£620 so nearly one third of the way.
Now I've posted-I'll HAVE to reach the target :)
