Yorkshire (East) is glorious, really too warm.

Did a carboot this morning and raised just short of £100 profit. Sold my Tesco clubcard vouchers on E-Bay too for £30, so not a bad day, although I'm shattered, these 6.30 starts really don't agree with me.

My good deed for the day was the left overs bits and pieces, I gave to the lady on the stall next to me as I was talking to her and she had been made redundant last month and was carbooting to pay her mortgage, I also mentioned this website.

Thats such a nice thing to do its things like that restore peoples faith in the human race.

I'm in the Lakes and its nice here, just had a big BBQ but its freezing now so come in :o

Things are slowly coming together now.The surveys are finally mounting up and beginning to pay out, thinging of maybe leaving some and withdrawing the money/vouchers nearer Christmas. Well, this week has been a good one.

    Caio £5.64

    Evening All!

Well I know I'm not going to make the target for May, I'll make over the £200 though so I'm chuffed with that tbh but I'm still ploughing on and possibly will get a good head start for June!

2 items sold on ebay tonight, just waiting for payment, plus I won another £10 on free b !ngo - There's a thread over on the gambling loopholes board for it, site is called 32 r e d (without spaces etc, secret codes and all that ;) )

Feeling more motivated now so listed a stack on ebay tonight, fingers crossed!

  • Morning All!

We (me & DS) did a car boot yesterday and managed a couple of hours before the heavens opened and we were forced to pack up. After taking out the float and pitch money we came back with £64 :T . Still got half a car load worth of stuff left too so going to do another one in a couple of weeks and will search the house over the next few days to find more stuff to sell.

I couldn't believe the amount of stuff we sold and for how little people wanted to pay for stuff. One woman tried to take a bag of me without paying:eek: - She asked me how much the bag was, said she'd have it and put it in her bag then she was haggling with me on the price of some curtains, when we agreed an amount she only gave me the money for the curtains and when I challenged her about the bag she tried to say she couldn't understand me! She gave me the money in the end! The nerve of some people though  .

Overall it was a good day and I was very happy with the money we made.

I also counted up my "savings piggy" and this month I've saved £32. So tomorrow I'm going to pay £96 into the bank - yippee :jThat now takes me over target for the month too! :j

Hope you all have a good bank holiday monday! I'm cleaning today but hoping to fill another couple of boxes with junk to sell as well.

I've got 18 items ending on e-bay today and have got a bid on one item and some watchers on some others. Hope to make a little bit there today. Not got anyting else planned money wise today but am contemplating doing a car boot sale next weekend. That can go towards my June total. Will give it some more thought today.

    Afternoon Everyone!

Just logged into ebay to get some listing done when one of their wee messages before myebay popped up:

There's a Half-Price listing day on Thursday 29th, full details of what's included and what the fees are are on ebay.

Along with free gallery?! Ebay obviously know they've upset an awful lot of people with all their latest changes!

But anyway, looks like Thursday would be a super cheap time to get listing for June!
