ELC 20% Discount

ELC used to let you use discount codes online on toys that were already on offer, but seem to have stopped doing it from about 2 weeks ago. I know because I placed an order on some things that were already discounted just before they changed the system, and the 20% discount worked fine. Hubby then decided the very next day that we could do with a few more things, but the discount code wouldn't work on items already on offer.

Fortunately for us, they updated the system again a couple of days after that, and hubby noticed that it was allowing the use of the discount code again on toys already on offer. He quickly placed his order, and good job too, because they now seem to have sealed up that loophole good and proper. (We now have enough toys for christmas, but I just can't resist checking their site once a day in case they slip up - can't resist a good bargain!)

They had a few hits in the 70s (Mr Blue Sky etc) but never really did anything after Xanadu with Olivia Newton John - I suppose this may well explain why there are 20% discount codes around...

LOL - I thought for a minute this post was in the wrong place and then I realised - I do believe you are thinking of ELO - Electric Light Orchestra. Very funny!!! I have to say I disagree about the 20% discount. I bought an ELO CD the other day for £3.99 that's gotta be 75% discount - bargain baby yeh!
