Mobile won't start up.

Has anybody experienced the follwing problem.
My wife has a Samsung D900i. It's been fine for 6 months or so but it now seems that when you switch it on you get the Samsung boot sequence but it then immediately shuts down.
Does anybody have any thoughts.
It is on contract so maybe I have another option there with sending it back.

I don't full know.
But have you opened it, taken the battery and card out and put it all back together?
Maybe also contact user support or look at their web site FAQ ?
